We love that headline from the Health Care Blog. The Health Care Blog republished an op-ed piece that first appeared in the Akron Beacon Journal and its online news site at Ohio.com. But the Health Care Blog’s headline added fire to the call to action. Yes, it is radical, although within the realm of reason. Federal regulators should go easy on older docs struggling to meet new requirements for using technology late in their careers. After all, it will be the mid 2020s before the infrastructure is in place for exchanging health information via an information super highway. That is by the federal goverment’s own estimate.
